Traditional Window Cleaning Methods
The method we use for most domestic situations is the traditional window cleaning method where access to the windows is possible. This includes interior windows, ground level windows and where safe access with steps or ladders is available.
We use an applicator to apply a soapy solution, then we squeegee (or blade) off the solution. We clean the edges with hemp scrim and wipe the sills with a microfibre cloth.
Water feed pole system
This is our prefered method of cleaning. This gives us access to windows that would be unsafe to access via a ladder.
Windows above conservatories or where placing a ladder would endanger the public. The key to cleaning this way is the quality of the water. If the water has any impurities or solids in it, when the window dries there will be spots left on the surface of the window. To avoid this, we purify the water so that when tested with a meter, we have 0.00 TDS (Total Disssolved Solids). So when the water dries on the windows, they are left spotlessly clean. This system is also great for cleaning cladding, signs and much much more.
